Lois Mulrooney, President and Senior Loan Officer

Lois Mulrooney was born in Arizona, raised in California and moved to Salem, Oregon in 1985. She’s worked in management since 1991 and entered the Real Estate Industry, specifically title and escrow, in 1996. She began her career in the Mortgage Industry in 1998 and started Resident Lending Group, Inc with her husband and partner Sean Mulrooney in 2004. Lois has always been extremely involved in her community in one capacity or another, recently serving as the President of the Rotary Club of Salem 2006-07, for which she has been a member since 1996. Lois has also been involved with the Salem Area Chamber of Commerce, Marion Polk Builder Industry Association, Salem Association of Realtors and the Oregon Association of Mortgage Professionals. Lois’s passions are her family, faith, work and community. She enjoys painting, gardening and traveling. Lois considers the office of Resident Lending Group her 2nd home and everyone that works with Resident Lending Group is like family. She takes pride in the work ethic of the office and everyone’s drive for continued knowledge and growth personally and professionally.


Sean Mulrooney, Vice President and Senior Loan Officer

Sean began his career in the Mortgage Industry in 1999 as a successful branch Operations Manager responsible for payroll and record keeping as well as Quality Control, among other responsibilities. Sean and his wife and partner Lois Mulrooney started Resident Lending Group, Inc in 2004. Sean is a member of Salem Rotary, Salem Area Chamber of Commerce, Marion Polk Industry Association and the Salem Area Chamber of Commerce.


Maxine Jones, Senior Loan Officer

Born in Rochester, NY in 1970 and moved to Oregon in 1976 where she grew up in Keizer and currently resides in South Salem.She has been working in the Real Estate industry since 1991 in the title/escrow for nearly 10 years, taking small break to be home with her daughter and returning to originate loans in 2002. With experience in other aspects of the industry she has a very good understanding of what happens from beginning to end of a transaction and everything in between. Maxine has been involved in many organizations in the area including Salem Chamber, Keizer Chamber, Salem Association of Realtors, Marion and Polk Building Association, on the board of the Salem Art Association, and 2006-07 President of Keizer Rotary where she has been a member since 1997. Maxine said—“I love helping people, that’s why I feel both my positions in Keizer Rotary and as a mortgage broker fit who I am. Although they help people in different ways whether it be raising money for a soccer field for children or helping someone with financing to help in their goal of purchasing a home, it is a very gratifying feeling to have helped make someone’s dream come true.”

Zac grew up on the Washington peninsula. He moved to Salem in 1994 to attend Corban College, named Western Baptist at the time. He earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and then continued his studies at Oregon State- go Beav’s, where he earned his master’s degree in advanced math education. He spent the first five years of his career teaching high school algebra and geometry, four of those at West Salem High School. His wife Jenny and he have two young boys and their family regularly attends Salem Alliance Church. They deeply enjoy being a part of the West Salem community where they reside. Zac is an active member of the West Salem Rotary Club and a volunteer leader with the West Salem Young Life ministry. Zac enjoys being a mortgage professional because the job allows for daily work with numbers and constant problem solving, but ultimately he enjoys the profession because it allows him to help people.

Trish was born and raised in Portland, Oregon and moved to Salem to raise her family in 2000. Trish has built her carrier on helping others to be successful. She’s worked in administration and/or the Real Estate industry since she moved to Salem and has brought a wealth of experience to Resident Lending Group, including experience in title and escrow, legal administration, loan processing and purchase coordinating just to name a few. She’s described by those who work with her as a positive and refreshing person who always has a “can do” attitude and is willing and eager to achieving the goals of the team. Trish enjoys most spending quality fun time with her 3 children and being active. She loves to bike and hike and be out in the outdoors!


Penelope “Penny” Penna, Reception, Processing and Quality Control

Penny was born and raised in New York State and transplanted to Oregon in 1976. Her work experience includes 20 years with the Oregon State Police and 8 years with Office of State Fire Marshal. Penny’s experience includes clerical, management, records audit & facility inspections in accordance with State of Oregon’s Statutes and Rules. She’s a loving mom and grandmother who enjoys crafts, reading, yard work, pets, Bunko and her friends. She’s described by those who work with her as consistent, accountable, loyal and reliable. Considered by those in the office as our “resident den mother”, she’s always looking out for everyone’s best interests.
